Sandoz 25 is a provocative and visually compelling digital exhibition that delves into the unexpected cultural intersections of two powerful forces: psychedelic drugs and football. Through a series of digitally rendered artworks, the exhibition explores how these seemingly disparate worlds share common themes of fantasy, escapism, and subculture. The title itself, a direct reference to the Sandoz Pharmaceuticals company and the 25th batch of LSD synthesized by Albert Hofmann, sets the stage for a journey into altered realities.
The exhibition is a dynamic visual tapestry, connecting the grassroots culture of football fandom with the profound, mind-altering experiences associated with psychedelics. Presented on a large-format display, each piece serves as a metaphorical bridge, linking the iconic heroes of the beautiful game to the psychedelic experience they’re meant to embody. The art cycles through, creating a continuous and mesmerizing flow that draws the viewer into a new way of seeing both the sport and the mind.
